As part of the celebration of Tiffany's 175th Gala honoring the timeless Zeigfeld collection featured in Baz Lurhmannn's version of The Great Gatsby, I designed period influenced costumes and ornamentation to enhance nostalgic mood of the party scene. Already inspired by its location of Rockefeller center, with the company of the Rockettes, fashion models as cigarette girls and two aerialists that flew 15 feet above the celebrity and invitation only audience, the scene of Gatsby was accomplished.

From Ideation to Execution

Mood board for models as cigarette girls.

Photo test with cigarette girls to send to corporate demonstrating use of their Zeigfeld collection.

Backstage look at the creation of what became known as the"canaries". Two women on either side of the room swinging 15 ' over the audience during the event.
